Riverview

I've never spent much time with premades in any incarnation of the sims until now. I'm not sure why, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with my tendency to be a total control freak. That being said, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm still a little bit overwhelmed by gameplay in sims 3, so I thought puttering around Riverview might help me get over that.




This is George Dean.
I just love his story! He's an all around good guy who lives in an abandoned firehouse, his mother having succumbed to death by fire sometime in the past. Mysteriously, he has the pyromaniac trait. Could he be responsible for her tragic passing?

For some reason his back story compelled me to stick him in the Ghost Hunter career. It felt appropriate.







Since George wants nothing more than to raise 5 runts from babies to teens, I figured he should get started with the baby making.



I'm sorry, but I could not resist that face.



Neither could Ruby Broke, I suppose.



After she moved in, I discovered she had four additional romances, that's a total of 5 lovers. She could give Don Lothario a run for his money(except for the fact that one of her lovers WAS Don D: )



She's also in love with George's Best Friend, which should make for some awkward situations in the future. :/





I switched to the Ivanov family for a little bit. Here's Nadine fishing up a tiny treasure box, which contained a guitar(how???).



Tatiana might be my favorite of the lot. She's rather uptight and nerdy for her hippy dippy gypsy family.



Although Rayna is kind of amazing as well.





This is Michaela, the newest member of the household. Like George Dean, Nadine dreams of raising 5 freaking children.



I have every intention of allowing her to fulfill that wish as well, because her husband is such a dog. I feel bad for her, I suppose. :/







By the time I returned to the Deans, I found Ruby was already pregnant. George, being a model father, endlessly rolled wants to read Pregnancy books and Rub Ruby's Belly.



Apparently, Don Lothario believes that reading "Totally Preggers" in public is downright indecent.



Meanwhile,Ruby endlessly danced to electronica.







One night, while George was in the midst of ghost bustin', Ruby jumped in George's big ol' pickup and drove herself to the hospital.



She brought back twin girls, both of which were given imaginary friends by some mysterious relative.



She celebrated by throwing a party that lasted just about ten minutes. I love how Don is oblivious to both the fire and the fact that he is being eaten by a hungry kitchen counter.



I switched to the Lobos family for a spell because I love their surname.



I also think Marisol has an interesting face.



They also have twin girls.






Angel Lobos is not terribly interesting, but he is quite helpful around the house.



Which is essential, because while I was off playing with other households, they had yet ANOTHER set of twin girls.



That's 3 sets of twin girls in Riverview(so far).







Checking in with the Ivanov's again, I discovered a rare moment where Yuri was actually doing something aside from flirting(with anything that moves).



It was Tatiana's birthday, but she didn't seem all that enthusiastic about it.





Upon transitioning to teen, I discovered that Tatiana had inherited her mother's frog-like chin.



At midnight, the adults of the household win some kind of ~mysterious vacation~ leaving Tatiana with the house to herself...



...and TWO NEW TWIN GIRLS(???._.). So instead of throwing some kind of wild teen party, she was stuck caring for 3 toddlers and her kid brother.



Fortunately, Michaela aged up the following night.



I think she's quite cute, but I'm fairly certain she has her mother's frog chin.





In the end, I actually let Tatiana throw a party after all. Yet it seems that Fraps decided the screenshots were tasty and ate them. All that remains is little Dimitri dreaming of his future as a fancy butler. 



Thankfully, the Ivanovs returned home before too long. 



Lastly, I returned to the Dean's just in time for a burglary. I love that look of resignation on the burglar's face.



The twins have grown into little toddlers. I still think sims 3 toddlers look freaking weird. They remind me of the hamburgler.  



Despite that fact Ruby doesn't seem all too pleased about the newest member of the household. I was pleased as punch that my game did not have kind of twin girls curse. I was afraid Riverview was evolving into an Amazon paradise.

I'm loving the look of your game though, the semi MM look...tempting me to re do mine but god knows how much time I spend getting it right now!

I'm glad you like the slightly MM look! It's strange, as I never played an MM game for Sims 2, and of course Maxis is not involved in Sims 3. *head scratching*

I think your game looks lovely the way it is now, though. :)

I do have a whole separate MM game for TS2...but I don't even use it much anymore :x And that's true about Maxis...I suppose everyone is just so used to calling it maxis match is hard to change; plus EA match doesn't sound too good ;P

And thank you about my game, I spent too much time getting it just right hahahah
