Graymare Asylum (part 3)
Mar. 8th, 2012 03:03 pm
It's been a very long time since I've updated this. Thankfully, I'm pretty sure I have enough pictures for two updates, so another one should follow prior to hell freezing over.

Warning: Brief attempt at ~backstory~ quickly followed by juvenile commentary. Also, silly shenanigans.
September Sims
Sep. 13th, 2011 12:56 pm
Howdy! I went out of town for a bit. Nothing eventful happened, except tres leches cake. <3
I made two sims for the september challenge at GoS, so here's a tiny teaspoon of spam.
Glendalough: The Mother Lode
Aug. 17th, 2011 05:15 pm
The vast majority of these are new, but there's a few old ones as well. Interior shots are randomly shuffled in, so they don't necessarily reflect the interior of the house that precedes it. Sorry for that. Also, I didn't take pictures of every lot, because nobody really wants to see hundreds of pictures.
Update: You can finally download this at GOS
Update Deux: Added a few more neat pictures by Simtarts
Glendalough: Help?
Aug. 5th, 2011 08:54 pm
So I think I'm finally done with my world, Glendalough. I need to do some testing and picture taking before releasing it, but I think it would be nice to have a tester just so I can see if it installs correctly before I unleash the beast. Is anyone interested in doing that for me?
A Little Night Music
Jul. 29th, 2011 06:37 pm
I'm wrapping up "construction" on Glendalough. I've got a total of approximately 100 lots, about 20 of which are empty so that people can add their own stuff without needing to bulldoze. I hope that's not too many/too few because WHATEVS. SO OVER IT. I still have some rabbit holes I want to recolor and I have yet to place streetlights and finish landscaping. Right now I'm fussing with sky and water conditions. /boringcrap
Have a few random pictures.

I've never spent much time with premades in any incarnation of the sims until now. I'm not sure why, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with my tendency to be a total control freak. That being said, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm still a little bit overwhelmed by gameplay in sims 3, so I thought puttering around Riverview might help me get over that.
Astronomy Tower! Hell yeah!
Jun. 26th, 2011 12:25 pm
I started building an observatory today! I think it looks nice so far, but I sort of thought it should be taller? It wont let me add any more floors, though. Does anyone have any other ideas for interesting community lots? I'm thinking about a diy coffee shop, since there are no proper coffee houses(yet). Maybe an aquarium? Any thoughts?
*shrugs*

I've been yammering on about this for awhile, but I've only shown a handful of screenshots. Keep in mind I'm still working on this, so any thoughts or suggestions that spring to mind would be helpful and appreciated. I'm probably going to take a little break from this thing because I don't want to burn out too quickly.
Glendalough: F!*%@t! WIP
Jun. 12th, 2011 08:31 pmFirst of all, making a world from scratch is god damned hard. I like what I've made, but I've probably only reached 60% mark. Building all the lots, landscaping, and tweaking the terrain takes FOREVER. Also, it's hard to take proper previews because all the buydebug stuff is kind of cruddy looking(also spoilerific). Anyhoo, I made a freaking tomb, damn it!

That's Lorraine Cantina from Riverview. She's my
Glendalough: Create a World WIP
Jun. 1st, 2011 12:58 amI've just spent a scary amount of time recoloring rabbit holes to make them more desaturated, weathered, and vaguely witchy. I mean, I've spent a stupid amount of time on this message board alone. GAH! Why?

Olive's Garden
May. 24th, 2011 11:23 am
Why, yes! This is Olive in formal wear, at the graveyard, autonomously, for no apparent reason. I thought it was a rather foreboding occurrence myself. Perhaps she's on a date with you-know-who? Inspired by the whole Sims 3 prequel thing, I've managed to recreate Olive and all of her future unfortunate loves. I'm working on other garden inhabitants as well.
A Night with the Goths

No one was pleased by the ever-charming Simon Crumplebottom taking up a little bit of light reading in the middle of the night.
The Mysterious Muendas
Apr. 19th, 2011 07:29 am
TAX SEASON IS OVER. That means I could have a life if I wanted to! But instead, I shall indulge my geeky bad habit. Truthfully, some of the awesome maxis action on my friends list has been extremely alluring. In short, I'm dipping a cautious toe into that - one fragile, frightened toe.
So, meet the Muendas. They're a work in progress. I actually thought their open-ended creepy little story would fit really well in my Lovecraft hood, so in they went. That's Willow above.
